Usage of additional deposit addresses
In the beginning, you have one deposit address per wallet for each cryptocurrency. In order to generate additional deposit addresses and hence, make your transactions less traceable, you have to first of all use the address.
Note: Pay attention to the different minimum deposit amounts. Keep in mind, that your deposit will be lost below this limit. Please note, that this cannot be undone. Warning! Don't send any other cryptocurrencies or assets than the same asset to a deposit address, or you will lose them. Furthermore, please read the notices to each cryptocurrency below.
Note: Your old ETH deposit addresses in your Bitpanda Wallet are only valid until the end of October, do not use them anymore. Simply create a new address by clicking on Create new address. Also, note that your old addresses are not shown in your wallet anymore.
To find out why please read the following article:
Regarding ERC20 tokens please read this article:
Due to the nature of the IOTA technology you can only use each IOTA address once for a single deposit. Depositing IOTA to the same address again, will result in the loss of the coins. To make more deposits to your Bitpanda IOTA Wallet, make sure to create a new deposit address
When depositing Ripple on your Bitpanda Wallet, it is necessary to add your correct destination tag otherwise the transaction cannot be assigned to your account.
Tip: If you sent Ripple to Bitpanda but did not include the correct destination tag we need the transaction ID (hash). Please note that a correct assignment cannot be guaranteed.
If your LTC deposit address is not recognized, it probably happens, because we are using multi signature addresses. Those addresses are definitely Litecoin addresses.
When depositing Stellar on your Bitpanda Wallet, it is necessary to add your correct memo otherwise the transaction cannot be assigned to your account.
For deposits the memo has to be of type MEMO_ID.
For withdrawals you can choose whether you want to use MEMO_ID or MEMO_TEXT. In case of a transfer to other services (i.e. exchanges), please check which memo type is required by the recipient and add it to your transaction.
Tip: If you sent Stellar to Bitpanda but did not include the correct memo we need the transaction ID (hash). To get the transaction ID (hash), go to stellarchain.io, input your address and next to where it says "Payment" you'll see the transaction ID (hash). Please note that a correct assignment cannot be guaranteed.
