What is the minimum deposit and withdrawal amount for cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies?

Minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts differ depending on your verification status and the payment or payout method. The daily limits are applicable within a 24h period starting when you made your last deposit or withdrawal.

Deposit Limit RiskIf you stay below the minimum deposit amount, your assets will be lost and will therefore not be visible on your account.
Cold Storage Forwarding Fees

Bitpanda uses an offline cold wallet to safely store deposits, requiring an internal forwarding transaction. Depending on the applicable transaction fee for each coin, this forwarding process may consume a substantial part of the initial transaction amount. Please review the minimum wallet deposit amounts and fees before transferring.

⬆Crypto Withdrawals

If you try to send less than the minimum withdrawal amount, your coins cannot be sent out, and you will receive an error message.

Destination Limit Check: Please check the minimum deposit requirement of the destination wallet you are sending to, as external platforms may require different deposit thresholds.
Address Verification Warning Cryptocurrency transactions are final and non-refundable. Always verify that you are sending to the current deposit address displayed in your account, and never send a coin to an address meant for a different asset.

Every cryptocurrency supported on Bitpanda is stored in offline cold storage. There is no individual cryptocurrency that is excluded from cold wallet protection across our supported catalog. Asset reserves are managed by a fixed percentage split:

Cold Storage MajorityThe vast majority of reserves for every supported coin is stored offline in air-gapped cold wallets disconnected from internet servers.
Hot Storage LiquidityOnly a small operational fraction of each coin is kept online in secure hot wallets to facilitate instant user trading and withdrawals.

Cryptocurrencies within the Bitpanda Crypto Index (BCI) that are not natively supported with a standalone wallet cannot be held, deposited, or withdrawn via individual cold wallets. These are explicitly labeled as Index-Only coins within the BCI view.

3. Savings Plans

When using Bitpanda Savings, you can opt between setting up a savings plan via SEPA Direct Debit or your credit card.

The minimum amount for each transaction as part of Bitpanda Savings is GBP 10, regardless of whether you choose the daily, weekly, or monthly buy option.
