A key security feature is Bitpanda Backup, which offers optional encrypted backup. Your recovery seed is split into two encrypted shards. One is stored securely by Bitpanda, and the other is saved to your own cloud account (iCloud or Google Drive). Both shards are required to restore access, meaning Bitpanda can never access your wallet on its own.
