As of January 2026, your tax number (sometimes called SPI), is mandatory on your Bitpanda account under the DAC8 regulation in Europe.
This is a 13-digit number assigned to each taxpayer.
How can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)?
- You can find this number on your annual tax notice, in the top left corner of the document.
- If you do not have access to your tax notices, you can go to the website impots.gouv.fr and request to receive your tax number by mail.
For any questions about the impots.gouv.fr website (missing notices, incorrect information, etc.), you must contact the tax authority’s support service. Bitpanda will not be able to assist you in accessing this service.
