As of January 2026, your tax number (called PIN or OIB in Croatia) is mandatory on your Bitpanda account under the DAC8 regulation in Europe.
This is a 11-digit number assigned to each taxpayer, 10 digits are randomly chosen, while the 11th digit represents the control number calculated by "Modul 11.10 " ISO 7064th.
How can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)?

Biometric Passport: Issued since June 30, 2009.
Health Card (Zdravstvena iskaznica).
Certificate of Personal Identification Number (Potvrda o OIB-u).
Income Tax Return (Prijava poreza na dohodak) and other tax submissions.
