Croatia - How to find your TIN (Tax Identification Number)?

As of January 2026, your tax number (called PIN or OIB in Croatia) is mandatory on your Bitpanda account under the DAC8 regulation in Europe.

This is a 11-digit number assigned to each taxpayer, 10 digits are randomly chosen, while the 11th digit represents the control number calculated by "Modul 11.10 " ISO 7064th.

How can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)?

    • Driving Licence (Vozačka dozvola): Issued since July 1, 2013.

    • Biometric Passport: Issued since June 30, 2009.

    • Health Card (Zdravstvena iskaznica).

    • Certificate of Personal Identification Number (Potvrda o OIB-u).

    • Income Tax Return (Prijava poreza na dohodak) and other tax submissions.
