As of January 2026, your tax number (called Personal Number in Czechia) is mandatory on your Bitpanda account under the DAC8 regulation in Europe.
This is a 9-digit number assigned to each taxpayer at birth (if birthday is before 01.01.1954) and a 10-digit number for those born after.
How can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)?
The TIN-like number can be found on your:
Identity Card (Issued between 1/1/2005 and 1/1/2012)
Identity Card (Issued after 1/1/2012)
- Passport (placement of the TIN will be the same, even if layout might differ depending on issued year)
