As of January 2026, your tax number is mandatory on your Bitpanda account under the DAC8 regulation in Europe.

Belgium - how can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)? 

  • In Belgium, the TIN is known as NN or "Numéro National". This 11-digits code is issued as soon as you registered. 
  • It can be found on your official identity papers:

Netherlands - how can I find my Tax Identification Number (TIN)? 

  • In the Netherlands, the TIN has 9 digits, with the last one being a check digit. 
  • The TIN can be found on all your identity papers (Passport, Driving License or ID Card)
