What is Passive Earn? 

Passive Earn is a new feature added to our Bitpanda Earn Section. It allows you to receive rewards on Stakeable crypto-assets without having to actively stake them. 

What Passive Earn offers you? 

Where can I track my rewards? 

You can track your weekly Passive Earn rewards right inside your Bitpanda wallet. Each reward is shown in your transaction history for full transparency. You will also get a weekly email displaying your Earn rewards, including Passive Earn.

How can I turn the rewards off? 

You can turn off Passive Earn at any moment by contacting our customer support and your unstaked crypto-assets will simply stop generating rewards. Everything in your wallet stays safe and accessible and you can still earn reward on your assets by actively putting them in Bitpanda Earn. 

Which assets are eligible for Passive Earn?

Passive Earn is available for a wide range of supported, stakeable crypto‑assets you hold on Bitpanda.

This includes eligible assets in your wallet, assets reserved for limit orders, assets locked in Fusion, and assets held through BCI (Bitpanda Crypto Indices). Assets used for Margin Trading are not eligible.

As long as your assets qualify, you’ll automatically receive rewards just by holding them: no manual staking required.

The APY for Passive Earn differs from manual staking. Instead of validator-based staking rewards, you receive rewards on eligible assets simply by holding them.
