Generate your Bitpanda API key
Log in to your Bitpanda account and generate an API key from your account settings. Ensure you enable the required permissions, including Trade: Read/Write, Earn: Read/Write, and Balances: Read/Write. You can first test it with a Read-only key before moving on.
Set up via config snippet
Drop the provided configuration block into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or your preferred MCP client. No local server installation is required. For detailed setup instructions and explanations of configuration blocks, see the Bitpanda API documentation. You will need to add the block into your config file, as described in the example.
Verify connection
Test the integration by asking your AI assistant: "List available trading pairs on Bitpanda." If it lists pairs (e.g., BTC-EUR, ETH-EUR), you're live!
Start chatting
Ask your AI assistant anything in natural language. It will retrieve information, analyse data, prepare actions, and execute trades only upon your direct confirmation.
