How can I deposit money to my Fiat Wallet and how do I buy cryptocurrencies?

Our Fiat Wallet feature allows you to deposit money to your Bitpanda account and have it available at any time to purchase cryptocurrencies. You can also sell cryptocurrencies to your Fiat Wallet and withdraw money at any time. This allows you to react quickly to the market regardless of the processing times of the payment methods.

Available Fiat Wallets

The following Fiat Wallets are available at the moment:

  • Euro (EUR)
  • US Dollar (USD)
  • Swiss Franc (CHF)
  • British Pound (GBP)

Deposit Fiat

To deposit money to your Fiat Wallet follow these steps:

Desktop Mobile App (Android)
  1. Click the Deposit button on the navigation bar at the top of the page.
  2. Choose the specific Fiat Wallet corresponding to the currency you wish to deposit
  3. Select a payment provider
  4. Choose the amount you want to deposit and click Go To Summary
  5. After forgoing your right of withdrawal and confirming that the payment method is yours, click Make deposit, you will receive a SMS-PIN (not with bank transfers), enter it and confirm
  6. You will be redirected to the website of the chosen payment provider, or get the payment details for bank transfers. After completing your payment, you will be redirected back to Bitpanda, and the amount will be credited to your Fiat Wallet

Buy Cryptocurrencies 

Desktop Mobile App (Android)

After you deposited money to your Fiat Wallet, click on Trade on the top right:

  1. Click Buy
  2. Select the cryptocurrency and your wallet
  3. Select your favoured Fiat Wallet
  4. Choose the amount you want to buy
  5. In the final step, you can see a summary of your order, after forgoing your right of withdrawal, click Buy now to complete your purchase
