Bitpanda ERC20 support

We are pleased to announce that we now support the ERC20 token standard used by tokens running on the Ethereum blockchain.

Note that ERC20 support means that Bitpanda will be adding specific tokens using this standard.

Currently these tokens are:

  • Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST)
  • Basic Attention Token (BAT)
  • Chainlink (LINK)
  • Pantos (PAN)
  • 0x (ZRX)
  • OMG Network (OMG)
  • Augur (REP)
  • Tether (USDT)
  • USD Coin (USDC)
  • Chiliz (CHZ)
  • Uniswap (UNI)
  • (YFI)
  • Synthetix Network Token (SNX)
  • Compound (COMP)
  • Maker (MKR)
  • UMA (UMA)
  • Aave (AAVE)
  • Ren (REN)
  • Kyber Network (KNC)
  • Band Protocol (BAND)
  • Ocean Protocol (OCEAN)
  • Aragon (ANT)
  • 1inch (1INCH)
  • Decentraland (MANA)
  • SushiSwap (SUSHI)
  • Axie Infinity Shard (AXS)
  • The Sandbox (SAND)

Note: Please do not try to deposit tokens that are not officially supported by Bitpanda via a full wallet (deposit and withdraw). If you do so, these tokens will be lost and are not refundable.

As with all other cryptocurrencies, whenever you deposit an ERC20 token make sure to only use the deposit address shown in the respective wallet of the token.

Note: Please note that if you send cryptocurrencies to an archived address, the coins will be lost permanently, as cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed or recovered.

Therefore, if you want to deposit ETH or ERC20 tokens after an address has been archived, it is required that you create a new deposit address. You can do so by following these steps:

  1. Click on Deposit
  2. Choose the token you want to deposit
  3. Click on Create new address

Note: If you send the tokens from a smart contract, they will be lost. Please also make sure to use enough gas to fund the transaction to the respective ERC20 wallet address.
