Bitpanda supports Ethereum’s ERC20 token standard, but keep in mind that only tokens officially listed on Bitpanda can be deposited, and only when they have full wallet integration (deposit and withdrawal).
Note: Make sure to select the correct network for your deposit. Sending funds via an unsupported network or from a smart contract will result in the permanent loss of the deposited amount. Furthermore, please make sure to use enough gas to fund the transaction.
Tip: Our status page shows which tokens are listed on Bitpanda. Before depositing however, please confirm on Bitpanda if that token currently has full wallet integration.
Addresses
As with all other cryptocurrencies, whenever you deposit a token make sure to only use the deposit address currently shown in your Bitpanda account. To find your deposit address:
Note: Always make sure to use enough gas to fund the transaction to the respective wallet address. Please refer to this article for details on “out of gas” transactions.
Archived addresses
Note: Please note that if you send cryptocurrencies to an archived address, the coins will be lost permanently, as cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed or recovered.
Therefore, if you want to deposit tokens after an address has been archived, it is required that you create a new deposit address. You can do so by following these steps:
Note: Due to the high demand for deposit addresses, if a deposit hasn’t been made within 30 days after the address was created, we might deactivate this address again.
No smart-contract support
Note: We do not support deposits from smart contracts. If you send tokens from a smart contract, these tokens will be lost and are not refundable.
