You will find the “analyst rating” section indicating buy, hold or sell recommendations on the asset detail pages of stocks. These ratings come from our external partner FactSet UK Ltd. and display analyst opinions on the asset’s performance and pricing. For the sake of simplicity, Bitpanda displays the received analyst ratings as follows:
- “Overweight” and “Buy” ratings are incorporated in the “Buy” category
- “Underweight” and “Sell” ratings are incorporated in the “Sell” category
Please rest assured that all investment opinions and analyst ratings are formulated independently. Bitpanda neither conducts original financial analyses themselves, nor does Bitpanda alter the recommendations received from FactSet experts, apart from the simplification procedure described above. We do not have any influence on the ratings and will never give you any advice on what to invest in.
Therefore, you should take analyst ratings into consideration when deciding on your next investment, but never solely rely on them. The more resources you take into account, the more “well-founded” your investment decision will be. You can find more information on this matter here.
Keep in mind
Bitpanda Stocks enables you to make fractional investments. To allow for this, Bitpanda issues a derivative contract which is backed by the underlying stock or ETF. You can read more about this here.
