How much does it cost to buy, sell and hold stocks and ETFs
Our fee structure is designed to be as transparent as possible. You only pay a fixed fee of €1 for each buy or sell transaction, and the custody of your securities is completely free.

How do trading and custody work?
When you trade, your orders are executed quickly and securely through the regulated Quotrix system of the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange.
Security is our top priority. Your financial instruments are always held in a **segregated securities account**, separate from Bitpanda's own assets, to fully protect your investment.
What are fractional shares?
Fractional shares allow you to invest in a piece of a share or an ETF with smaller amounts of money, without having to buy a full one. They are a great way to gradually diversify your portfolio. Fractions generally do not grant voting rights and cannot be transferred or certificated. During corporate actions, rights (including dividends) are credited on a pro-rata basis and may be rounded down to the nearest eligible increment.
