If you’ve made a cryptocurrency deposit to your Bitpanda account and it hasn’t arrived yet, don’t worry—most delays are caused by network confirmations or small address errors. This article will help you check the most common causes before contacting support.
Quick overview
What you need to check first
Verify that the cryptocurrency was sent to the correct deposit address for that specific coin or token. Compare the address you used to send the funds with your current Bitpanda deposit address.
Mobile App:
Desktop (WebApp):
Note: Each cryptocurrency has its own network and address format. Sending funds to the wrong address (e.g. BTC to BCH) or an unsupported network will cause permanent loss.
For all supported cryptocurrencies, see Deposit cryptocurrencies.
After confirming you used the correct address, check the transaction status on the blockchain.
- Use a blockchain explorer (e.g. blockchair.com, etherscan.io, tronscan.org, etc.).
- Paste your transaction hash (TXID) into the search field.
- Confirm that the transaction shows as successful and has the required number of confirmations.
Most deposits complete automatically without any action from you. Network congestion or low transaction fees can extend confirmation times.
Submit a support request
If your transaction meets all the conditions above and still hasn’t arrived after the expected time, you can contact us using the form below. Please only use this as a last resort—in most cases, deposits arrive automatically once processing completes.
Submit a Missing Deposit Request
Information you’ll need to provide:
- Date and amount of your deposit.
- Currency and network (e.g. BTC, ETH, TRX).
- Deposit address used (must match your Bitpanda account).
- Transaction hash (TXID).
- Optionally, a proof of payment such as a blockchain explorer link or wallet screenshot.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do crypto deposits usually take? +
Most deposits appear within 2 hours after being confirmed on the blockchain, but network congestion or low fees can delay confirmation.
What if I sent to the wrong address or network? +
Unfortunately, transactions sent to an incorrect address or unsupported network usually can’t be recovered. You can still submit a request for review, but recovery is not guaranteed.
Where can I find my transaction hash (TXID)? +
The TXID is available in your sending wallet’s transaction history. It can also be found by viewing the transaction on a blockchain explorer.
