Learn how to deposit cryptocurrencies to your Bitpanda account and about the important requirements when doing so.
How to deposit?
- Sign in to Bitpanda
- Click on Deposit
- Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit
- Select a network if available
Make sure you select the network on which you created the destination address. Selecting the wrong network will result in the loss of your funds.
- Copy the Deposit address and paste it into the destination field of the external wallet you’re sending from.
a. Cryptocurrencies deposited to the wrong address are permanently lost on the blockchain. Bitpanda can’t recover these assets.
b. Pay attention to the Minimum deposit amount - If required, paste the additional information into the external wallet
- Complete the transaction in the external wallet
How do multiple networks work?
This feature allows you to select from multiple networks when depositing various crypto assets to Bitpanda. You now have the flexibility to pick your preferred network for the transaction. Please note that not all assets are supported on all networks.
Think of transferring cryptocurrency like sending a package via post. The 'network' is the city where your package is going. When you send crypto, you have to pick the right network, just as you'd put the correct city on your package label. If you choose the wrong network, you risk losing your funds, similar to how your package might get lost if you specify the wrong city.
Note: To avoid losing funds, always confirm that you're using the correct network. Bitpanda can't recover funds that are lost due to being sent or received using an incorrect network.
Currently, you can only use the asset's default network to transfer your assets to other platforms. Withdrawals in multiple networks will become available in the coming months.

When will my deposit arrive?
It usually only takes a few minutes. However, deposit times can differ depending on the cryptocurrency and the amount of traffic on the blockchain. In the case of Bitcoin, it can even take up to two hours or more (6 confirmations from Bitcoin miners).
What are the minimum deposit amounts?
When depositing cryptocurrency to Bitpanda, make sure the amount is above the Minimum deposit amount plus the Wallet deposit fee. Lower amounts are used up entirely by the transaction costs and cannot be credited to your account.
How do I check my transaction?
After your deposit is successful, it will show a green Finished label. But you can also check its status directly on the blockchain by clicking on the Transaction ID in your Transaction history.
Additional information
Important! Your coins will be lost if you do not consider the following information in your deposit. In such a case, there is nothing we can do to recover them due to the nature of blockchain technology.
USDC Coin (USDC)
Since January 2024 Bitpanda supports deposits of both native USDC (Contract Address 0x3c499c542cEF5E3811e1192ce70d8cC03d5c3359) and bridged USDC (Contract Address 0x2791bca1f2de4661ed88a30c99a7a9449aa84174) on the Polygon network.
Tokens on networks (e.g. ERC20 on Ethereum, BEP20 on BSC, TRC20 on Tron)
Only deposit tokens (e.g. ERC20, BEP20, TRC20) are supported on Bitpanda with a full wallet integration!
When depositing ERC20 tokens keep in mind that only tokens officially listed on Bitpanda can be deposited, and only when they have full wallet integration (deposit and withdrawal).
Stellar (XLM) and Ripple (XRP)
Always include the correct Memo otherwise your coins could be lost!
When depositing Stellar (XLM) or Ripple (XRP), a so-called Memo is required. Both Memo ID and Memo Text will work. Make sure to enter the correct one at Bitpanda when depositing, otherwise your coins could be irreversibly lost.
NEM (XEM)
Always include the correct Message otherwise your coins could be lost!
When depositing NEM (NEM) a so-called Message is required. Make sure to enter the correct one at Bitpanda when depositing and do not send the Message encrypted, otherwise your coins could be irreversibly lost on the NEM blockchain.
Eos (EOS)
Always include the correct Memo otherwise your coins could be lost!
When depositing EOS (EOS) a so-called Memo is required. Make sure to enter the correct one at Bitpanda when depositing, otherwise your coins could be irreversibly lost on the EOS blockchain.
Zcash (ZEC)
We only accept non-private Zcash transactions for deposits.
Do not deposit from a private address (z-address). When you do so, your funds could be lost.
Cosmos (ATOM)

When depositing Cosmos (ATOM) a so-called Memo is required. Make sure to enter the correct one at Bitpanda when depositing, otherwise your coins couldl be irreversibly lost on the Cosmos blockchain.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Do not deposit to Bitcoin Legacy or Bitcoin wallets otherwise your coins could be lost!
We only credit Bitcoin Cash (BCHN) coins sent to Bitpanda. Deposited Bitcoin Cash (SV) or Bitcoin Cash (ABC) coins could be lost.
Neo (NEO)
Only use NEO 3 addresses, otherwise your coins could be lost!
Please note that we do not support NEO Legacy deposits. Only use NEO 3 addresses, otherwise your coins could be irreversibly lost on the blockchain.
Waves (WAVES)
We do not support WAVES alias deposits.
Please note that we do not support WAVES alias deposits. We only support Waves deposits through the native Waves network, so please do not use any other network or your digital assets could be lost and cannot be refunded.
Avalanche (AVAX)
Do not use other networks (C-Chain, P-Chain, etc.) otherwise your coins could be lost!
We only support AVAX X-Chain deposits. Do not use any other networks (C-Chain, P-Chain, etc.) or your coins could be irreversibly lost.
Litecoin (LTC)
We use SegWit or multi-signature addresses
If your LTC deposit address is not recognised, this is probably because we are using SegWit or multi-signature addresses. These are valid LTC addresses. Bitpanda does not support Mimblewimble transactions on the Litecoin network. Depositing such transactions to Bitpanda might result in a fund loss, as Mimblewimble privacy feature requires creation of special opt-in and opt-out transactions or funds being sent to special addresses starting with ltcwmeb1.
Dash (DASH)
Please consider that Bitpanda may not support privateSend transactions on the Dash network, because the necessary checks can not be completed.
