Cash deposit is visible, but I have a problem

If your fiat (cash) deposit is visible on your Bitpanda account or has been debited from your bank or card but you’re still experiencing an issue, this guide explains what to do next and how to contact us efficiently.

Start by confirming that your deposit was successfully sent from your bank or payment provider.

  • Check your bank statement to ensure the funds were debited from your account.

  • Verify that you sent the deposit in a supported currency (EUR, CHF, GBP, USD, etc.).

How long do cash deposits usually take?
It depends on the payment method — SEPA usually takes 1–2 business days, while card and e-wallet payments are typically instant. Delays can occur due to bank holidays or incorrect reference codes.
What if I forgot to include the reference code?
Your deposit might not be automatically linked to your Bitpanda account. Wait until the expected processing time has passed, then submit the FIAT deposit issue form and include your proof of payment.
Can I deposit from someone else’s bank account?
No. Deposits must come from a bank account in your own name. Payments from third-party or business accounts will be rejected and returned automatically.
