Forgotten your registered email address?
If you can’t remember the email address linked to your Bitpanda account, please follow the steps below to help us verify your identity.
Quick summary
To retrieve your account, we’ll need you to provide a clear photo of the ID document you used during verification, alongside a handwritten note with the following details:
“Bitpanda – Forgot Email Address”
Today’s date (written in full)
Please submit this image using our contact form, and include your registered mobile number in the relevant field.
Step 1
Use a plain piece of paper and write the following by hand:
“Bitpanda – Forgot Email Address”
Today’s full date (e.g. 2 July 2025)
Step 2
Get the same type of ID document you originally used when verifying your account (either your passport or driving licence).
Important:
-Only the same document type used in your initial verification is accepted.
-Expired documents are not accepted, except for renewed versions of the same ID.
-We cannot accept scans or photocopies
Step 3
Write down the following information on a sheet of paper.
- "Bitpanda Forgot Email Address"
- Today's date
Step 4
Take a picture of your identity card or passport next to the handwritten notice.
Please ensure:
-Your full name and date of birth are visible on the ID
-The note is fully legible
-The photo is not blurry, cropped, or obstructed

Send us the picture using our contact form.

Do not send a selfie or portrait photo — it may be too blurry or obscure details.
Do not scan the documents — only clear, colour photographs are accepted.
Do not send a different ID type than the one originally used.
