How can I deposit cryptocurrencies?

If you send coins to your deposit addresses, your Bitpanda wallet will be automatically credited with the correct amount, after confirmation by the network.

Depositing cryptocurrencies

To deposit cryptocurrencies on your Bitpanda wallet, please follow these steps:

Desktop Mobile App (Android) Mobile App (iOS)
  1. Log in to your account and click on Deposit in the top right corner
  2. Choose Assets and select the wallet you want to deposit to
  3. You're now in the respective cryptocurrency wallet where you can see your deposit address and the corresponding QR-code
  4. Make sure to read and follow the notes below for your cryptocurrency. Then use your deposit address to send coins from your other wallet to your Bitpanda wallet

Note: Please always check these limits in the respective wallet before initiating any transaction.

Tip: You can also use the QR-Code instead of the deposit address.

Note: Cryptocurrency deposits to your Bitpanda wallet will be credited automatically as soon as they have received 6 confirmations from Bitcoin miners or the equivalent level of security on other networks.

Usage of additional deposit addresses

In the beginning, you have one deposit address per wallet for each cryptocurrency. In order to generate additional deposit addresses and hence, make your transactions less traceable, you have to first of all use the address.

Note: Pay attention to the different minimum deposit amounts. Keep in mind that your deposit will be lost below this limit. Please note that this cannot be undone. Warning! Don't send any other cryptocurrencies or assets than the same asset to a deposit address, or you will lose them. Furthermore, please read the notices to each cryptocurrency below.
